इस दुनिया में बहुत सी जगह ऐसी मोजूद है जिनके पीछे बहुत सारे राज छुपे हुए है| उन्ही जगहों में से एक है डेथ वैली या जिसे हम मृत घाटी भी कहते है |इस घाटी में बहुत सारी घटनाये घटित होती रहती है जो आज तक रहस्य ही बनी हुई है |डेथ वैली को दुनिया की सबसे गर्म जगह माना जाता है |यह घाटी अमेरिका में स्थित है |ऐसा कहा जाता है इस घाटी में पत्थर अपने आप खिसकते है और कोई भी इस घाटी को पार नहीं कर सकता वह इस घाटी में ही मर जाता है |

डेथ वैली की लंबाई 225 किलोमीटर है और इसकी चौड़ाई 8 से 14 किमी में है। इसकी चौड़ाई हर समय घटती-बढ़ती रहती है। ऐसा कहा जाता है की यह अपने आप अपना आकार बदल लेती है |

यह दुनिया के सबसे गर्म जगहों में से एक है। यहां से गुजरने वाले इंसान या जानवर रास्ते में ही गर्मी की वजह से दम तोड़ देते थे। बाद में वैज्ञानिकों ने जब इस जगह पर खोज की तो उन्हें भारी मात्रा में इंसानों और जानवरों की हड्डियां मिलीं जिसके बाद इस जगह को ‘डेथ वैली’ और ‘मौत की घाटी’ का नाम दिया गया।

ऐसा कहा जाता है की इस घाटी में पत्थर अपने आप चलते है |जैसे किसी पत्थर को तुमने आज देखा और कुछ दिनों के बाद में देखते है तो वह पत्थर उस जगह से गायब मिलता है वह आगे खिसक जाता है | यह पता कोई नहीं लगा पाया की ये पत्थर कैसे खिसकते है या इनको कोई खिसकाता है |पत्थर सरकने के बाद में उनके पीछे निसान भी मिलते है |कुछ लोगो का मानना है की ये पत्थर तेज चलने वाली हवाओ के कारण खिसकते है लेकिन यह भी जवाब सही नहीं है क्योकि उन खिसकने वाले पत्थरो में से प्रत्येक का वजन 100 किलो से उपर है ऐसे में हवाओ से तो ये पत्थर नहीं खिसकने वाले |ये अभी तक रहस्य ही बना हुआ है की पत्थर आख़िरकार खिसकते कैसे है |हालांकि किसी ने भी इन पत्थरों को सामने से सरकते हुए नहीं देखा।

No one has been able to find out how these stones move or someone moves them. After the stones move, marks are also found behind them. Some people believe that these stones move due to strong winds but this is also the answer. This is not true because each of those sliding stones weighs more than 100 kg. In such a situation, these stones are not going to move due to the wind. It still remains a mystery as to how the stones move. However, no one has seen these stones moving in front of them.

कुछ लोगों का कहना है कि एलियंस की वजह से ऐसा होता है तो कुछ मैग्नेटिक फील्ड को इसके लिए जिम्मेदार करार देते हैं।मौत की घाटी में घूमने वाले पत्थरों के रहस्य को सुलझाने में वैज्ञानिक दशकों से लगे हुए हैं। कुछ का मानना है कि धूल के बवंडर की वजह से पत्थर आगे की ओर बढ़ते हैं। कुछ शोधकर्ताओं का मानना है कि इस विशालकाय झील के इलाके में अकसर काफी तेज-तेज हवा बहती है। उन हवाओं की वजह से ही पत्थर आगे की ओर बढ़ता है।

Scientists have been engaged for decades in solving the mystery of the stones roaming in the valley of death. Some believe that the stones move forward due to the dust storm. Some researchers believe that very strong winds often blow in the area of this giant lake. It is because of those winds that the stone moves forward.
